Billing Analyst - Naperville, IL

eX² Technology is seeking a Billing Analyst to join our team. This individual will be skilled in accurate and timely processing of customer invoices, issuing correct invoices and overseeing company revenue intake.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyze and develop a keen understanding of Contracts and Deliverables

  • Analyze Customer and Project Billing Requirements

  • Analyze Project Progress to Completion

  • Verify billing data by checking for errors and making necessary corrections

  • Investigate and resolve billing disputes with customers and/or other departments

  • Effectively communicate with leader, Operations and external customers to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing

  • Effectively communicate with customers on past-due payments

  • Ensure invoices are accurately entered into the ERP

  • Ensure payments are receipted in a timely manner

  • Assist in month end close procedures

  • Assist with financial audit

  • Assist with process improvement

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

Experience

  • Experience with Acumatica or other ERP system

  • The ideal candidate should have 3 years of accounting or financial analysis experience, ideally in the telecommunications, critical infrastructure or construction industries. 

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Thorough knowledge of contracting process, including contract terms and conditions, scopes of work and pricing concepts

  • Knowledge of telecommunications and construction industries, including the ability to understand the construction process preferred

  • Demonstrated customer service skills

  • Demonstrated excellent people skills

  • Demonstrated excellent communications skills (written and verbal)

  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented
